Cotton, Chosen With Care

We select premium combed cotton for its softness and breathability, so your feet stay dry and comfortable from morning to night.

How long has Sox & Lox been making diabetic-friendly socks?

We're the first registered diabetic-friendly sox brand in Australia, with 25+ years of experience and a presence in 3,000+ pharmacies nationwide.

Are these socks only for people with diabetes?

No. Many customers wear them for general swelling, sensitive skin, or simply a non-binding, all-day comfortable fit — no diagnosis required.

What size should I order?

Sizing is based on Australian shoe sizes — Men's fits 6–11, Men's Extra Large fits 11–14, and Ladies' fits 2–8.

How should I wash and dry these socks?

Wash in cold to lukewarm water and avoid high heat when drying — both in the tumble dryer and in direct, strong sunlight. Tumble dry on low, or air dry in a shaded spot, for the longest life.

Are these socks a substitute for medical advice?

No. These socks are designed for comfort and are not a medical device. If you have diabetes or a circulation condition, please follow your healthcare provider's advice on foot care.

What are these socks made of?

Each style is built around a soft main fibre, with small amounts of other fibres added for fit and durability. A sock made from a single fibre would lose its shape and wear out quickly.

Main fibre (depending on the style):

Cotton – our cotton styles are mostly cotton, for the soft, breathable feel people love. Cotton absorbs moisture to help keep feet comfortable.
Bamboo rayon – a silky-soft fibre made from bamboo that feels smooth against the skin and breathes well.
Lamb’s wool – a lamb’s wool blend that is naturally warm and cushioned, and absorbs moisture to help keep feet dry.

Added fibres:

Polyester – reinforces the sock for added durability.
Elastane – adds gentle stretch so the sock fits comfortably and stays in place.

Check the label on each pack for the exact fibre content of your style.

Great socks - comfortable and not too tight at the top!

Soft, comfortable socks with a gentle top

These socks are a great option if you find regular socks too tight around the ankles or calves. The comfort top is one of the best features - it feels gentle and doesn't leave those deep elastic marks that some socks can cause, while still managing to stay up reasonably well.

The material feels soft, lightweight and comfortable for everyday wear, and the socks have a good amount of stretch. They also seem easy to put on and take off without feeling restrictive.

The roomy fit around the toes is another nice feature, making them feel comfortable without putting unnecessary pressure on the feet.

The six-pair pack is practical and offers good value, especially for everyday use. They also appear to wash well and hold up nicely.

One thing to keep in mind is the sizing, as some people found them a little long in the foot or noticed that they could become a bit loose over time, particularly if they were on the smaller end of the size range.

Overall, these are soft, comfortable and well-made socks that are especially nice for anyone who prefers a non-restrictive top without harsh elastic digging into their legs.
